It comes after Amanda admitted she thinks it’s ‘hilarious’ how much controversy some of the revealing outfits she’s worn on Britain’s Got Talent have caused.
The media personality has provoked complaints to broadcasting regulator Ofcom with her clothing choices in the past, but she is not worried about the criticism.
When asked about The Sun’s controversy, Amanda said: ‘That’s what it’s all about. It’s funny how much controversy my outfits have caused – people have a lot of free time.
‘I mean, nobody really paid much attention to what I wore when I was in my twenties or thirties.

I enjoy it, it’s all so much fun. She would always rather be overdressed than underdressed for any situation. That has been a general rule of thumb for me since I was about five years old.
However, Amanda insists that her fashion choices aren’t just for her, she hopes to inspire other women with her looks.
“I dress for other women and for myself,” she explained. “I constantly look at what other women are wearing and stop people and say, ‘Oh my gosh, where is that from?'”
Amanda’s figure has drawn attention in the past: a daring £11,250 dress cut to a navel length worn by the Britain’s Got Talent presenter on the show in 2017 drew 663 complaints from Ofcom.

A year earlier, at the show’s finale, 90 complaints about Alesha Dixon and Amanda’s clothing choices were sent to Ofcom, and 200 to ITV, although they were deemed “appropriate” by the regulator for that year’s show.
Earlier this year, Amanda was adamant she wouldn’t tone down her outfits, adding that she likes to wear latex to auditions and saying she doesn’t think anyone should feel pressured to “dress their age.”
Amanda previously laughed off viewer complaints about her fashion choices, saying her mom Judith adored her outfits.

She said, ‘Mom said, ‘Ooh, let them talk. You look better than girls half your age.’ When my mom was 48 years old, she wouldn’t have dared to wear a miniskirt, because she’s from the time when you wouldn’t dare stick your knees out if you’re almost 50.
“Whereas I look at Kylie and J-Lo and I’m like, well, if she’s still doing it, I’m still doing it,” he said at the time.
“Of course I have fun on Britain’s Got Talent, it’s the perfect opportunity to take risks. Times have changed and I don’t think anyone should feel pressured to dress their age. It’s all about body positivity and feeling good.’
